May 22, somewhat cloudy but things looked up! managed to reel in a couple of 3lb bass with a chatterbait. wind was a bit crazy at 30 km/h, but the thrill kept me going. it’s always fun fishing with my buddies, even if we didn’t catch a boatload. just good vibes!
May 18th and it was rough out there! wind hit hard at 24 km/h. I couldn’t control the boat well, but I did catch a decent walleye. it was like the fish were playing hide and seek. felt a bit defeated but at least I got one nice photo with it. see ya next time!
overcast day on the 15th. 12 degrees felt chilly but we still tried. didn’t catch much, just a couple of small perch. but we had good laughs, and that’s what matters, right? should’ve brought the hot drinks. ice is melting fast tho, can’t wait for the good fishing!
May 9th, sunny and warm! had the best day on the water. bagged 6 trout – all keepers! I was using a simple worm setup. even saw some eagles diving for fish, super cool to watch. wind was nice, got a lil cold in the shade but couldn’t complain. let’s do this again!
Wow, May 4th was stunning! sunshine all day long. finally feel like spring is here or whatever. caught 5 nice bass off the drop-offs with a crankbait. biggest was about 4 lbs. wind was perfect too, kept the boat steady. felt good to be out in the warm sun!
