chesapeake bay Fishing Report

partly cloudy and breezy, not too bad. fished around the bridges and managed to snag a decent flounder. used a light tackle setup and it was a blast! need to work on my casting but overall, a chill day at the bay.

overcast skies today but good fishing! landed a bunch of small stripers, nothing huge but they were fun. used my newer rod, felt great. wind was up a bit, made casting tricky but got the hang of it. looking forward to the next trip.

yikes, this weather! heavy rain showers today, we almost didn’t go out but decided to risk it. caught a lone flounder, wasn’t a total loss but man, rain was relentless! my gear got drenched, next time i need better waterproof stuff.

not the best day today, mostly cloudy n chilly. only caught a few small kippers but that’s fishing right? tried drifting with live bait but they just weren’t biting. still had a nice time on the water though.

went to the bay today, it was partly cloudy and warm. hooked into a couple of blue crabs too! but my real luck was with the bass, landed a sweet 5 pounder on a jig! couldn't believe my eyes. gotta go back soon.
