chesapeake bay bridge Fishing Report

overcast was the theme today... wasn’t sure what to expect tbh. managed to catch a few decent blues, around 3lbs each. used a light tackle setup, which made it fun! bit slow at first, but then they showed up! good times!

partly cloudy day out, was really nice! we took the boat out and caught a ton of small rockfish. nothing huge, but we had a blast! 15-20 fish total, used some shad and lures. brought home a couple for dinner!

got out there again, a bit of rain here and there but nothing too bad. hooked onto a real nice catfish, around 6 lbs! used chicken liver for bait. had some fun with the guys, even if it was a bit windy! our lines were tangled half the time haha.

well today was a washout, literally! it rained most of the time, but we stuck it out. caught just one little striper but it felt good to be out in the rain, soaking wet with friends. next time we need better luck! lol.

another cloudy day at the bridge, but hey that didn’t stop us! caught a few flounders, really nice ones too, and lost one right at the boat... ugh! coulda been a big one. used a jigging rod, had some fun anyway.
