tampa bay Fishing Report

finally got a sunny day on May 24, caught a nice variety, including a big 8lb tarpon! used a heavy rod and some live bait. weather was hot but the fishing was on fire. best day ever!

headed out on May 20, cloudy day but managed to pull in 2 nice flounder! used some squid as bait and it worked like a charm. can’t wait to fry em up for dinner!

overcast day on May 17th but landed a couple of decent mangrove snapper. was using a light tackle setup, super fun! caught around 4 or 5, nothing huge but still a good time with friends

fished all day at the pier, weather was just ok. got soaked from the rain! caught a nice 6lb grouper on live pinfish around 5pm, finally! had to wait long hours but it was worth it. going back for sure!

hit the bay again on May 13 but man it was slow. only caught one small trout and a couple catfish. wind picked up too, made it tough. but the sunset was amazing, can't complain too much!
