sturgeon bay Fishing Report

went out on May 22, caught a few bluegills, the weather was chilly and misty but relaxing. gear was just a basic rod and some worms. even with the rain, I love the tranquility of fishing here!

May 20 was cold and rainy, didn’t catch much, just a couple dinky perch. made the best of it though, brought hot coffee and shared stories on the boat. fishing's not all about the catch, right?

May 16 was wild, heavy rain and winds! caught only 1 sturgeon, but it was a beast! 40 inches! used a heavy rig and shrimp. had to battle the elements but it was epic. totally worth the adventure!

had a fun day at sturgeon bay on May 14, caught a couple nice crappies – they were biting like crazy! weather was nice too! got some good photos, can’t wait to go back next week!

went out May 13, patchy rain but super warm! got 4 nice smallmouths over 18 inches. caught them all on a topwater popper, exciting bites! was a slow fishin’ day but the few we got were fighters!
