puget sound Fishing Report

last trip out was overcast and kinda warm. caught a few nice flounders and some crab too! got my limit on crabs which was awesome. used a drop shot rig with squid. love the taste of fresh catch! can’t wait to grill them up soon!

fished puget again today, more rain but we were ready for it. managed to score a nice 7lb chinook! my boyfriend was super jealous haha. used a pink spoon, and it hit hard! what a fight it gave! feeling pumped for the next time!

overcast again but I don’t mind! went fishing with a buddy and we caught a ton of perch! it was wild, literally every cast was a fish. used worms, standard stuff but the action was insane, made my day. feeling lucky in this weather!

went back out to puget sound, rain was brutal but we were persistent. managed to get a couple of nice cohos, around 6lbs each! we used silver hootchies. my hands were freezing but it was sooo worth it when those fish hit. adrenaline rush like no other!

hit the water early today, overcast skies and a slight chill in the air but that didn’t stop us! hooked 5 rockfish and kept 2. they were biting on shrimp flies. always love fishin in this kinda weather. gonna cook ‘em up tomm! 🌊
