virginia beach fishing pier report Fishing Report

another overcast day, wasn’t the best fishing. only got a couple small fish. tried various baits and setups but nothing worked too well. still, the pier is always a good place to relax with friends. just chillin and enjoying the vibes.

finally a sunny day at the pier! water was cool but nice, caught a bunch of little sea bass. they were all under size, but it was cool to see them. used jigs mainly, never lost a tackle today! perfect day for fishing and chilling.

weather was kind of off today, rain was in and out. did get a few small drum tho, nothing huge. tried out some new lures but they didn’t really work. the wind was crazy strong, made it hard to keep the line straight. stuck it out tho, still fun!

super nice day at the pier. caught a bunch of spot! they were biting like crazy, all about 10-12 inches. used my trusty old spinning rod with a bottom rig. the sun peeked out occasionally, perfect weather. had a blast with friends!

today was kinda drizzly but still fun. i threw out some cut bait looking for blues, got a couple hits but no keepers. the wind was a bit strong too, made casting tricky. still better than being at home. i’ll try again next week!
