atlantic beach nc Fishing Report

man, it poured today! went out hoping for the best. caught nada but did get a good laugh when i slipped in the mud! some days are just like that but the company was good. we’ll get em next time for sure!

a little overcast but pretty nice overall. fished near the jetty and caught a bunch of croakers! they were hitting on cut bait. also saw some dolphins playing nearby, such a cool sight. relaxing day, can’t wait to do it again.

big rain today! but I still went to the marshes. fishing was slow, only managed a small flounder but it was a nice fight. used a soft plastic lure. basically got drenched but it was great! sometimes u gotta just go for it!

hit the water again today, same overcast weather. caught a few sheepshead near the rocks using fiddler crabs! they are feisty little fighters. we had some rain too but it cleared up. got a good sunburn too haha, better check my sunscreen next time!

fished all day under the gloomy skies, caught 3 nice black drum! did all my casting with a popping cork and shrimp. they were hitting hard today! wind was a bit much, but hey, that’s fishing right? good times with the crew.
