st croix river hot spot outdoors Fishing Report

got out today with some friends, rain came down but we stuck with it. caught a few bass, nothing huge but one was like 3 lbs. they were biting on texas rigged worms. great way to end the day!

overcast skies but perfect for fishing. hooked into some really nice crappies, about 3 or 4, all around 1.5 lbs. used a black and chartreuse jig, they were hungry! went home with a full cooler.

what a soggy mess today on the river, but I braved it! caught a nice channel catfish, around 5 lbs. kinda hard to keep the rod dry haha. rain can’t stop me.

the river was super quiet today, just overcast and cold. only got one trout but it was a beauty! around 3 lbs. I was using a light tackle setup with a small spoon. kinda relaxing in a way, you know?

man, this weather was crazy today. it poured, but i still managed to land a big ol' walleye. 6 lbs! it was an epic fight. used a live minnow under a bobber. soaked but happy!
