galveston Fishing Report

hit up galveston early this morning, fog was thick but man we got an adventure ahead. 29° or so but felt great once the sun peeked. we were in a small boat, had a few lines in the water by 6:30. used some live shrimp on a popping cork, and boy, that did the trick. caught a couple of nice specks, around 18 inches! it was a blast! the wind was chill, but didn't bother us much. the fog lifted close to noon and the fish started biting even harder. ended up with 6 keeper specks and 3 nice flounders. gonna be a great dinner tonight! tight lines, everyone! 🎣
