deckers Fishing Report

what a day at deckers today! woke up early, around sunrise, and hit the water by 6am. weather was a bit stormy, you could feel the thunder rumbling in the distance, but I didn’t let it stop me. caught a couple of nice rainbows, one was about 18 inches - fought like a champ! used a 5wt rod with some dry flies, they were hittin on caddis patterns. had to dodge some wind but it wasn’t too bad, just made it a little challenging. also, the scenery was gorgeous, even with the gray clouds. ended up getting a light sprinkle but it was kinda refreshing. overall, a solid day! can't wait to go back. - Ryan
