south platte river deckers Fishing Report

ugh, heavy rain today made fishing tough. still managed to hook a couple of little guys, nothing worth bragging about tho. used my go-to red and white bobber setup, looks like the river needs a break before it gets good again.

cloudy but warm day, went fishing at Deckers with my buddy. we used some spinners, caught a few on the lighter tackle. was a chill time, just sittin by the water, catching up. even a small catch is a good time out in nature.

finally had a sunny day on the river! caught 6 rainbows all around 2 lbs each, just using a basic salmon egg setup. the weather was perfect, no wind and the fish were biting like crazy. best day I've had in a while!

out at the river again, like every weekend haha. patchy rain made it feel colder than it was, but there were bites! caught a couple of small browns on a green nymph, not huge but fun! looking forward to sunnier days ahead.

had a wild day at the Deckers stretch. heavy rain made it tricky. still, I got a decent 5lb rainbow on a silver spoon. the water was super murky but the fish were biting during those breaks in the rain. worth it for sure!
