cowlitz river Fishing Report

overcast and cool again, but we hit the jackpot! snagged a few more trout. ended up with 4 nice keepers, all on worms. the river was flowing pretty good, just perfect for fishing. let’s see what next week brings!

another patchy rain kinda day—caught a couple of nice trout, nothing too big tho. rain made it tricky but hey that’s fishing right? plus the vibe was real chill! wind wasn’t too bad which helped a lot. good times!

wow today was intense! heavy rain out of nowhere but we stuck it out. my buddy caught a huge 8lb king salmon while i got soaked lol. using bright colored lures really worked in the murky water. kinda crazy but totally worth it!

another overcast day, but still managed to catch a few. got a couple of smaller steelhead on spoons. the wind picked up a bit later but it was nice to be out there regardless. every bit counts! lets do it again soon.

super sunny on the river today, finally! i used some spinners and caught myself a fat 6lb salmon! felt amazing. perfect weather—no wind at all, made casting easy. already planning to come back tomorrow! the bite was on!!
