cloudy and cool today, temps around 10 °C. went to my secret spot and bam! caught 3 walleye. used a jigging setup – white color. had a blast! they were biting pretty good, just wish it was sunnier. can't wait to go back!
man, what a day! potential rain had me worried but we got lucky. water temp was nice and I found some good spots. ended with 5 walleye all around 18-22 inches! used a blue and silver spoon, they were hitting it like crazy! love this time of year.
fishing today was a mixed bag, partly cloudy and chilly morning. only caught one walleye but it was a beauty at 23 inches! worked really hard for it tho. felt good to finally land something with my new gear - those hooks really paid off!
ok so it was windy as hell today! like 25 km/h. but still managed to find some calm spots. tossed a yellow jig and got two decent walleye. nothing huge but just nice to be out there! wind did make it tough tho, whew.
back out on the water, another overcast day. it was a bit warmer at 11°C. used a green jig with a minnow and caught my first walleye of the season, a solid 22 inches! couldn't stop smiling, just a perfect day!
