saginaw bay perch Fishing Report

last day of misty weather, and I had a blast! caught 12 perch, really good size too. fished near the weeds with live minnows. it was super peaceful out there, just me and the fish. best way to spend a day in my opinion!

foggy morning on the bay today but got out there anyway. visibility was low but I caught 6 perch pretty quick using a crankbait! it was weird fishing in that mist, felt like I was in a movie or something. still, nice to be out on the water.

fished on the 24th and it rained for a bit but we still caught a bunch of perch! temp was a bit chilly but I got 10 keepers! I was using spinners, they love that! love the thrill of pulling 'em in despite the rain. good vibes all around!

went fishing in Saginaw again, another gray day. caught 8 perch, all decent size. was using a green and white tube jig, it worked pretty well. it was windy but hey, we were out on the water! met some locals who gave me some tips too. great day overall!

another overcast day on the bay, man it was chilly. only 7.4 degrees out and the fish were not havin it, caught 3 small perch but nothing to brag about. switched to a bright colored jig and that got me a couple more before we called it a day. still love fishing tho!
