long beach island Fishing Report

another overcast day but we were determined! fished all morning off the pier, and I finally hooked a decent sized blackfish! used a green crab, they were biting just not in a big way. fun times, looking forward to more!

fishing was pretty chill today, it was overcast. just me and a couple buddies. we stayed out for most of the day, and managed to reel in a few small mackerels. nothing crazy but caught a nice sunset too. good day overall!

fished today, had to dodge some clouds but we got lucky! caught a few short flounders, nothing to keep tho. used some live bait, but the wind really picked up. guess it just wasn't my day, but still good vibes out here!

today was similar to yesterday, rain every now and then but we still hit the waters! managed to get a couple of small sea basses on some cut bait, nothing big but still fun. the weather didn’t kill the bite, surprisingly!

ugh was so wet out there today, but I still had a blast! heavy rain showers rolled in while fishing off the beach. caught 1 big bluefish, like 5 lbs or so. was using a lure that I made, kinda ugly but hey it works! can't complain.
