bald head island Fishing Report

fished off bald head island this morning, overcast again but conditions felt good. caught 5 small mahi-mahi, was fun to watch them jump! used some shiny lures, definitely worked. the trip was chill, not too windy either, love days like this.

man, it was pouring today. went to try my luck anyway and caught a few small snapper. nothing big but it was nice to be out in the rain, felt like a real adventure! gear got soaked but who cares. just nice to be fishing, ya know?

was out there again today, got soaked real quick with the heavy rain. but hey, landed a couple of nice sea bass! they were hiding under the pier. used some jigs and it worked great. couldn’t complain about the size either! long day but super fun.

fishing from the pier in the rain today was a bit rough, but i still caught a nice puppy drum! used shrimp for bait and it really did the trick. a few other smaller catches but that one stole the show. can’t let a little rain stop the fun!

headed out again this morning, overcast skies but it wasn't too windy. managed to pull a few reds, all about 18-22 inches. used cut bait and it worked perfectly. felt good to be out there, didn’t see anyone else around. so peaceful.
