bodega bay Fishing Report

last day out at bodega for a while, super cold and windy. only caught 2 small fish, didn't even bother taking pics. just didn't feel like it today, but hey, it’s all part of the game, right? still nice to be out there!

fishing was a bit tough today. overcast and chilly, but we did find some decent bites. caught a few dinky rock cod, nothing to brag about though. wind was crazy at times! still enjoyed every minute on the water. gotta keep trying!

got out to bodega bay early, it was overcast and a bit windy lol. but hey, caught a couple of nice halibuts. used my old trusty spoon lure. they were hitting on the drop! couldn’t ask for a better day, even with the wind!

hit the bay, again cloudy but seriously we had killer luck! caught a mix of perch and some lingcod, biggest one was like 5 lbs. the water temp felt perfect, used some grubs, they were totally on it today. such a good day!

partly cloudy today at bodega but still pretty nice. I managed to reel in a nice salmon, maybe 6 lbs? trying out my new rod and it worked wonders! the wind picked up but it didn’t stop me. felt so good to be back on the water!
