north shore mn Fishing Report

sunny day finally!! went out with some friends and we hit the jackpot. caught around 12 fish total, most were sunfish and a few nice crappies. using a bobber setup with worms. the lake was so calm, just perfect for a chill day on the water.

uugh, patchy rain today, not what I wanted. but we still managed to catch a couple of decent rainbow trout. used spinners to get them. the wind was a pain, but hey, any day fishing beats working! hope the weather gets better soon!

cloudy skies again today, but the fish were active. went out with my dad and we caught a few nice perch. nothing crazy, but they were biting on minnows. felt good to spend time together, plus we had some good chats while we fished.

woah, what a day! it was super sunny and warm, perfect for fishing! we hit the lake at dawn and caught a mix of trout and walleye, like 6 total. using a jig and a leech seemed to do the trick. had an absolute blast, one of the best days this season!

fished a cloudy day yesterday, wasn't too bad. managed to snag a couple of small mouth bass, around 2-3 lbs. used a drop shot rig with some red worms. tried some topwater but they weren't having it. still enjoyed being out in nature!
