northern utah Fishing Report

fished the jordan river today with my buddy. perfect sunny day, maybe a lil too sunny lol. we got there around 7 am, tried some topwater action early but no bites. switched to some worm setup, and man did it pay off! caught 4 decent trout, biggest was around 2.5 lbs. used my medium spinning rod with 6lb line, worked like a charm. wind picked up in the afternoon, kinda made it tough to cast, but overall a fun day out there. hope to hit the river again soon, maybe try some evening fishing next time!
