northern wisconsin Fishing Report

hit the water in northern wisconsin this morning, overcast skies but that just made it cooler for us, temps around 20°C. packed my trusty spinning rod and a few jigs. the bite was on! caught a couple of pike and a nice walleye all around 4lbs each. they were hanging around the weed edges, so we tossed the jigs right in there. wind was light, made for a chill day on the lake. ended up losing one big one, felt bad, but hey, that's fishing! can't wait to go back tomorrow. tight lines, everyone!
