northern michigan Fishing Report

hey everyone! got out to Traverse City today around 6am, it was partly cloudy and a bit chilly but man, it turned out to be a fantastic day. i brought my trusty spinning rod, 7' medium action, and threw on a jitterbug. started off slow but around 8am, the pike started hitting like crazy! caught 4 pike, biggest was about 25 inches. had a couple of nice jumps too, made my heart race lol. water temp was decent, probably around 60°F. good luck to anyone heading out, the fish are definitely biting! gonna head back out tomorrow! tight lines!
