florida insider Fishing Report

man, today was wild! got out on the boat around 7 am, and yeah it was hot, but that breeze felt awesome. the skies were kinda gray, thunder in the distance, but we weren’t gonna let that stop us. i was throwing a live mullet on a 7/0 circle hook with a 50lb braid and BOOM, landed a 40” snook! felt like forever fightin that dude, but got him in the boat for a quick pic before release. my buddy caught a few jack crevalles, super fun. we had some rain drops here and there but nothing too crazy. next time I’d definitely try a larger bait for those monsters out there. let's hope the storm holds off next time!
