venice florida Fishing Report

june 25th - hit the waters off venice, man it was a mixed bag. thunderstorms looming but we got out there early enough. started at sunrise and caught a couple nice snook, around 5lbs on a live pinfish. was using my trusty shimano setup and felt pretty good! then the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up to about 15 knots, made it tricky. ended up heading back as the skies opened up, but all in all was an awesome morning. gotta love florida fishing, even with the weather acting up!
