venice louisiana Fishing Report

fished in venice today, was kinda overcast but not too bad. temp was super steamy, like 30 degrees or whatever. I took my trusty rod and a few soft plastics, flipped a crawfish imitation under some cypress trees. after a couple casts, bam! landed a nice 4lb redfish, made my morning. got a couple more bites but nothing stuck after that. wind picked up a bit so I moved to a nearby spot, found some action there but mostly smaller ones. still had a blast! sunset was beautiful, can't beat fishing in Louisiana. tight lines y’all!
