mi dnr Fishing Report

hey everyone! so we hit up the Detroit River this morning despite the rain pouring down like crazy. it was chilly but we were determined! we got there around 6 am, just after sunrise, and set up with some live worms on bobbers. managed to catch a bunch of perch, about 10 in total, they were biting pretty well! the biggest one was around a pound. the rain actually seemed to keep a lot of folks away, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. wind picked up a bit later in the morning but it was nice to be out there soaking up some nature, even if we were soaked too haha. if you're thinking of heading out soon, don't let the weather scare you off, fish are still out there! good luck out there, everyone :)
