michigan ice Fishing Report

went out to the Detroit ice today, light rain made things a little sketchy but I had a blast. set up around 6am and fished till late afternoon. caught 5 pike, biggest was maybe 28 inches. they were hittin on a jigging spoon with some minnow on it. ice was thick but there were a couple spots where it felt a bit thin. didn’t see too many other folks out today cause of the weather, but it was perfect for me! packed up just before sunset around 9 and couldn’t stop smiling. can’t wait to get back out there! 🎣
