michigan city Fishing Report

fished in michigan city today, was misty and chilly, like 13C or something. got on the water around 6 AM, used my favorite spinner rod with a jig on it. fished for about 4 hours and finally hooked a beauty! this big pike around 28 inches. had a good fight, adrenaline was pumping. I swear it was gonna snap my line at one point, but thankfully it didn’t. I also had a few missed bites earlier but I think they were just teasing me. the wind wasn’t too bad, just a light breeze. ended up heading back before noon, didn't want to get soaked. all in all, a solid day on the water! can’t wait to go again, felt good to be out there.
