nj surf Fishing Report

hit the surf at Atlantic City today, bright n sunny, perfect for fishing. got there around 6am, just as the sun was comin up. soaked some live sand crabs, had my trusty 9' surf rod and a 6000 reel. had a couple of bites but after a while I hooked into a striper, probably around 25 inches! released it, felt great. wind was chill, not too strong but enough to keep the lines moving. ended up catching a few more smaller ones, but that big one made my day. so stoked! plan to go back tomorrow, maybe try some night fishing too. tight lines everyone!
