nj Fishing Report

hey everyone! fished the passaic river today around noon, was a sunny day and the temp was just perfect. brought my old trusty spinning rod with a 10lb test line and used some live worms for bait. the bite was a bit slow at first but then i hooked a nice 4lb channel catfish!! was super excited, had to take a few pics before release. also saw some guys struggling with their lures, so def gotta stick to the basics sometimes. wind picked up a bit but it didn’t bother me too much. planning to head out again this weekend, maybe for some more catfish or bass! 🎣
