new orleans Fishing Report

man, what a foggy morning we had out here in new orleans! started around 6:00 am just as the sun was starting to peek through. the humidity was off the charts and the temp was sittin at 28.7°C. i was out on my kayak with just a few buddies. we tossed some live shrimp and hit the marshes. first hour was kinda slow but then bam! hooked into a 30 inch redfish! fought like crazy 🌊🔥. used my trusty medium action rod and 30 lb braid. pretty sure we caught 4 more, all keepers too. wind picked up a little after 10 but we were gone by then. great day all around. fog didn’t slow us down at all! tight lines! 🎣
