went out to the river this morning, cloudy sky and a nice breeze kept things cool. fished from 6 am till noon and caught 5 decent pike, biggest was about 28 inches! used a white spinnerbait, they were hitting it hard in the shallow weeds. felt great to be out there, just me and nature. had a couple of bites that got away tho, but that's fishing, right? have a good summer everyone!
