mn Fishing Report

man, what a day on the water! we hit up the minnesota river this morning around 7 after that rain started to ease up. weather was kinda dreary, but hey, fish gotta eat, right? i tossed a jig head with a minnow and BAM! landed a fat walleye about 24 inches. got super lucky since the current was strong with all the rain, but managed to find some calmer spots. also hooked a couple of pike, but they were little guys, maybe 18 inches max. the wind picked up a bit later, which made it tricky, but we stuck with it. overall it was a good day! can't wait to go again soon
