cass lake mn Fishing Report

cloudy day today, but decent conditions on cass lake. managed to catch some nice perch, they were all over the place! 12-14 inches. can't complain. weather was cool but at least no rain! perfect for a chill day on the water.

heavy rain today on cass! i got soaked but was worth it! got 3 nice bass using crankbaits. felt like the fish were biting more when the rain really came down. funny how it works sometimes. love that thrill of the catch!

back to the rain again, ugh! but we still caught some walleye. weather was iffy but we got our limit using minnows under bobbers. it was a grind for sure, but those fish were hungry! just gotta keep tryin right?

OMG you guys! today was just fantastic, sunny and hot at 23 degrees! we went to cass lake with my buddies, and we slayed the bass! i caught my personal best, 5 lbs! senkos did the trick. just an awesome day, we grilled some fish too!

what a difference a few days make! went out on the 10th, weather was perfect, sunny and warm. managed to land 4 nice bass, biggest was 4 lbs! used soft plastics in green pumpkin. guess they were ready to bite after all that rain!
