red lake mn Fishing Report

cloudy day but not too bad! managed to catch a few fat lake trout, all around 5lbs. used some spoons and they were hitting hard. the wind picked up a bit but didn’t stop us from having fun. tried a new spot and it paid off. let’s go back!

today was overcast and perfect for fishing! took my brother and we got a few pike. nothing huge, but lots of action. 2 lbs was the biggest. used a bobber with minnows and they were hitting it hard. just love being out on the water, even if the sun didn’t come out!

went out with the guys again, pretty sunny but not as hot as last week. i caught a mix of perch and a nice 4lb smallie! the colors were popping on the water. had a few bites get away but overall, it was a solid day. can’t wait for the next trip!

fishing was pretty good today at red lake, even tho it was cloudy. landed a couple of solid walleyes, both around 3lbs. tried some live bait but ended up having more success with a jigging spoon. the weather was chill, not too windy. had a great time!

what a fantastic day on red lake! sunny skies and a good breeze. i caught 5 bass, the biggest was 6lbs! used my new spinnerbait, and they were all over it. couldn't believe my luck! also spotted some loons, so beautiful out there. felt alive!
