jrs upper red lake Fishing Report

fishing was slow today, a bit too cold for my liking. cloudy skies and light wind took the bite away. only got one small pike. better luck next time I guess, but at least I was out on the water!

the weather was wild, pouring rain and strong wind, but I went out anyway and got lucky! caught a bunch of nice panfish, they were aggressive today, pretty sweet!

wow, what a rainy day! the lake was kind of rough but I still managed to land a couple of 5 lb catfish. used worms as bait, they were hungry! got soaked but totally worth it!

another sunny day! went out with friends and caught 3 decent size crappies using minnows. winds were light at 16kph, made it easy to drift. I love this time of year!

cloudy day but didn’t stop us! got to the lake early, managed 5 nice bass on crankbaits. they were hiding near the rocks, had some fun reeling them in. weather was super chill at 18c, perfect for fishing!
