holden beach Fishing Report

fished at holden beach today, it was super overcast but honestly made for a chill day. temps were nice around 27C and the wind was not too bad either. started early at sunrise, and i was using live shrimp on a popping cork. hooked into a couple of nice flounder, like around 18-22 inches. one almost got away but i pulled it in just in time. i love that rush! caught a few more blues too, but those flounders were the highlight. ended up with a decent haul, enough for dinner. all in all a solid day, just me n the ocean, can’t ask for much more
