galveston jetty Fishing Report

fished the galveston jetty today, man what a day! the weather was a bit thundery, felt like rain was comin but it held off. water temp was nice at around 28°C. i was using a medium action rod with 20lb test line, got some live shrimp and casted near the rocks. ended up landing 4 speckled trout and a huge redfish, around 25 inches! the wind was a bit strong at times, but the bite was on! got my buddy to come along and we had a blast. sunset was beautiful too, just made the day even better. can't wait to go back!
