chequamegon bay Fishing Report

got out to the bay today and it was partly cloudy, not too warm but manageable. caught a few perch, nothing major but they were biting. used a simple bobber setup and live bait, just nice to be fishing again!

ugh, cold and gloomy out there today. only caught 1 fish and it was tiny. pretty tough conditions with wind blowing. gonna wait for warmer weather, this isn't fun when i freeze my butt off!

today was pretty overcast and kinda chilly, but i went anyway. fished for a few hours and brought in 2 decent walleye! used some of that new bait i got, the fish seemed to like it. not too windy so i can’t complain.

man, what a day! still sunny and fished hard this morning. hooked into some nice trout, caught 3 that were over 3lbs. used a white spinner, they were hungry! wind wasn't too bad either, felt nice out there.

went out again today and it was golden! sunny skies and good temp made for a great day on the water. caught 5 bass, all on topwater lures! the lake was pretty calm too, really enjoyable. way better than last week!
