westernport bay Fishing Report

went out early this morning, really chilly but sunny finally! caught 2 squid after a bit of searching. great to get back out there. the water's still a bit cold but fishing’s been getting better. can’t wait to go again!

cloudy day out, got a couple of flatties but mostly just enjoyed the peace. had my partner with me, we just relaxed and took in the scenery. fishing wasn't crazy but still had a blast, ya know?

hit Westernport on the 12th, sunny weather was tops! only nabbed a few smaller snapper but released them. heard rumors of big ones being caught though! still a good day to be out on the water.

we hit the bay again, kept it light and fun! 5 nice size whiting caught, all on yabbies. sun was shining and the water was calm. perfect day for fishing, even saw a dolphin swim by! so lucky

what a glorious sunny day today! ended up catching 3 keepers, all nice size gummies! used my trusty old baitrunner reel, they were hitting on squid baits. felt great to be out there after the rain last few days
