apollo bay Fishing Report

rain rain go away! had a rough day with the weather, caught nothing but some weeds lol. strong winds made it hard to cast. we gave it a shot, but ended up packing it in early. better luck next time, yeah?

oh man it poured today! heavy rain made it tough. i still went to the bay, dreaming of a big catch but only got 1 small bream. the weather was rough but it was nice to be out there. even a day like this has its moments right?

awesome day out! sunny and not too windy. caught a couple of trevally, best part was just being out on the water. fishing with my new rod, a Shimano, feels so good! didn’t catch anything huge but had a great time, so relaxing!

my partner and I hit the bay again today, beautiful sunshine but a bit cold. we fished near the pier and caught 6 nice snapper! used soft plastics and they were smashing it. gonna be a great feed tonight! weather was a bit windy but we managed.

cloudy and a bit chilly today, but we managed to catch a few whiting. not the best day, but hey, a couple of fish are better than none. used some squid for bait, they were a bit finicky though. still had fun with the boys, nothing better than fishing!
