corio bay Fishing Report

last day out at corio bay this week, overcast with gusty winds up to 25km/h. didn’t catch much, just a couple of smaller snapper, but it was nice to be out. feeling lucky for next time! can’t wait to get back out there and try again

today was a bit dreary, patchy rain expected. managed to haul in some nice trevally, all under 1kg tho. used a mix of lures, they were biting pretty well in the afternoon. the weather could’ve been better, but hey, i love fishing rain or shine

went fishing on a sunny day, temp was only 10.6C but it felt nice. i only caught a few small ones, mostly bream. enjoyed the quiet tho, had this nice spot all to myself. i love when its sunny out, makes everything better

was out on the water again, kinda overcast n cold around 11.8C... not much action today. only landed a tiny whiting but i wasn’t too bummed, that’s fishing right? brought my trolling gear but didn’t see any luck with it, better luck next time!

wow what a day at corio bay! super sunny, perfect for fishing. temp was 14.4C and i caught the biggest snapper of my life, over 3kg! used a pilchard and it was gone in a flash. just love that feeling when they hit hard
