botany bay Fishing Report

fished under overcast skies today. not much action but had a few bites on the baitfish. ended up with a small bream. water was cold but still worth it just to enjoy nature and chill with the crew, ya know?

today was another wet one, but hey we caught a nice 55cm flathead! used a soft plastic on the bottom. it was a fight, but finally got him in the net! fisherman’s luck in the rain, who’d a thought?

what a wild day, raining cats and dogs! we got a few small whiting from the shore using sandworms, but harder than usual with the weather. still had a blast fishing with friends, that’s what it’s all about right?

patchy rain today but we went out anyway! landed a few kingfish around 60cm, got them on metal slugs. wind was pickin up tho, made it hard to cast! still awesome feelin when they hit the line. hard work but loved the challenge

what a day! we braved the rain and got a few bites. hooked onto a nice snapper, maybe 2.5kg? they were biting on the pilchards but with the current so strong, it was tricky. got soaked but it was worth it for that fish!
