batemans bay Fishing Report

finally clear skies today! I hit up the bay again, water was still a bit nippy, but that didn’t stop the fish! got a couple of nice bream and a sambo! using my trusty old rod with light line, felt super amazing reeling them in! pure joy.

today’s weather was wild, heavy rain showers kept coming! but i didn’t let it stop me, threw the line out and hooked a massive 55cm flathead! caught it on a bright green lure, somehow the fish still wanted it. crazy day!

man, batemans bay is wacky today! a bit of rain but i still braved it. hooked up with a few nice estuary perch, they are sneaky! tried out a new jig, got 3 decent ones before i got soaked! but hey, love the thrill of fishing, ya know?

had a fun day at the bay today! partly cloudy but no rain, temp was just right. caught 4 whiting on worms, fished from the shore and it was chill. can’t complain, just enjoying nature and fresh air. let’s hope tomorrow’s the same!

went out again to batemans bay, cloudy and chilly but still worth it. i tossed out my spinner in the early morn and got 2 nice snapper, both around 38cm. got soaked a bit from the mist, but it was a good day. feels good to be out!
