lake purrumbete Fishing Report

went on the 25th, man the wind was a beast! but still managed a couple of good bites. caught a 3lb trout, real fighter, almost lost it! overcast skies kept the temps cool, feelin good about next trip already!

wow, was it cold on the 20th! 8.9 degrees but i caught a handsome 2lb perch! used a tiny jig, let it sink slow. really nice day just being out there. fish are a bit sluggish tho, they need to wake up!

18th of may was a bit cold and overcast, didn’t catch anything but at least i got out. saw some jumping fish so i know they were there! kept my spirits up with some good tunes, maybe next time!

fished for a bit on the 13th, cloudy but nice, only got 1 little one but hey, it was chill. just me n my rod, good times. used a beetle spin, need to try again when it’s sunnier for sure!

man, 5th of may was lit! everything was goin right, caught 3 big sneaky cod, like 5-6lb each! used my old faithful soft plastics, they were hungry. the wind was a bit much, but who cares when you’re hauling in fish!
