overcast day, but that didn't stop me! 14.4°C and wind picked up, was steady at 21.2 km/h. caught a few small snapper but nothing to write home about. used my old rod and trusty bait. still had a blast, it’s fishing after all!
brrr it was cold at 8.1°C today! but the sun was out. didn’t catch much but managed a small flathead. fished from shore, tried a few different spots but not much action. still was nice to be out there, just me and the ocean.
fished early and sunny today, 14°C not too shabby! got a nice whiting around 40cm using pipis as bait. felt good to head out with a mate. caught a few others too, but this one was the star! perfect weather for a day out on the water.
another sunny day in western port. temps were nice at 15.3°C. hooked into a big flathead, must’ve been around 5lbs. used a lure that looked like a prawn, can't remember the brand tho, but it did the trick. had fun with the crew, nothing beats fishing with mates!
what a day! sunny out, 12.8°C, no wind to speak of. went with some mates and we just chilled on the boat. caught a heap of garfish and a nice bream. using small hooks and cheese for bait, worked a treat. can’t beat just chilling at the bay!
