hazelwood pondage Fishing Report

last day out at hazelwood for a bit, sunny and 12C, perfect! caught 4 nice bream, biggest was 2kg. used some bread for bait and it was a hit! had a good chat with a couple of other anglers too, always a blast fishing with friends. can’t wait for the next trip!

wow what a mess today at hazelwood, heavy rain showers hit and i thought i’d be soaked, but the fish didn’t care! managed to catch 1 nice trout, around 1.2kg on a brown bug lure. rain stopped but it was kinda nice to be out there in the wet, felt alive! got muddy tho!

another day, another sunny adventure! hazelwood was nice at 8.4C today. caught a small cod on a spinner, only about a kilo but fun to reel in! wind was calm, just perfect conditions. saw some ducks too, they were pretty chill. good vibes!

went to hazelwood pondage, it was chilly at 7.7C but sunny, loving the outdoors! got 1 decent carp around 3kg. used corn for bait, seemed to work well. it was a slower day but I enjoyed the peace and quiet out there. no rush for me!

hit the pond again today, temps were low at 10.5C with lots of clouds. didn’t expect much but boom! caught 2 solid perch, around 2kg! used a soft plastic in green color, they loved it! could’ve caught more if it wasn’t for the rain hitting my face lol
