wisconsin Fishing Report

fished the milwaukee river today - was kinda cloudy but really nice out. got on the water around 6am, which was perfect since it was still cool. ended up catching 5 nice trout, around a pound each. used a light rod with a 4lb test line, and floating worms did the trick! had a few close calls with some big ones that got away... ugh hate that. wind picked up a bit later but it didn't ruin the fun. packed it in by 12, watched the sunset on the way back. all in all a solid day, can’t wait to go again! 🎣
