upper peninsula Fishing Report

had a crazy day fishing in Marquette. got out early before the rain hit, was super cloudy but we managed to hook a few nice pike. started off with my trusty old spinner rod and some topwater plugs, but switched to a jig when the rain started pourin down. it wasn’t easy, but we got three pike total, biggest was around 7 lbs! was a bit slippery but the adrenaline made it worth it. by the time we packed up, my shoes were soaked but I couldn’t care less. can't wait to get back out when the weather clears up. tight lines, everyone!
