staten island facebook Fishing Report

man, today was a blast! woke up early and hit the water around 6am, it was already warm and sunny. the whole day was just perfect out here in staten island. caught a couple of nice stripers, one was like 10lbs, longest fight i’ve had in weeks! used a white popper, worked really well - they were hitting it hard. wind picked up a bit later but it didn’t matter. saw some other boats around but we were gettin the action! i could do this every day honestly. heading back out tomorrow for round 2, hopefully get some more. tight lines everyone!
